Mission

El Niño Track (elninotrack.com) is an unofficial, English-only site that puts public NOAA Climate Prediction Center (CPC) ENSO monitoring into plain words: is the Pacific in El Niño, La Niña, or Neutral, and what that has often meant in a region historically.

What we are

• An unofficial summary of public NOAA CPC (and climate.gov) products.
• A store-and-render site: fetch → timestamp → show the last good value.
• An English-only product. Ops timezone: Europe/Rome.

What we are not

• Not a forecast agency.
• Not NOAA, CPC, or any government office.
• Not a weather app: no radar, hourly city weather, or invented meters.

Data credit

Index values and official products come from NOAA CPC. Regional “often wetter / often cooler” language follows public CPC and climate.gov historical composites. Agency, product, and date sit with the numbers. See Method.
